The following positions are available at Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital:
5 internships (self-funding):
Anglesey Lodge has five internships available in the next year:
Two 12 month internships starting August/October 2010
Three foal-season internships from 17th January to 1st July 2011
These internships will provide mentored exposure to a large caseload, including over 100 foals per season, in the centre of the main Thoroughbred racing and breeding area in Ireland
All 5 internships are self-funding. The hospital will pay for professional indemnity insurance, but the intern is responsible for their own living expenses and registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
Many of our previous interns have been able to secure funding from their own Governments or another source of sponsorship
All interns must register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland prior to starting at the hospital
