Internships
Our internship programme is full for 2011/12. We will next require interns in September 2012 and January 2013. We will start accepting applications for these positions from May 2012.
Our internships will provide mentored exposure to a large caseload, including over 100 foals per season, in the centre of the main Thoroughbred racing and breeding area in Ireland. We have 5 internships in total, 1 position is filled.
The internships are self-funding. The hospital will pay for professional indemnity insurance, but the intern is responsible for their own living expenses and registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
Many of our previous interns have been able to secure funding from their own Governments or another source of sponsorship
All interns must register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland prior to starting at the hospital.
